Rachel Jefferson is from Chicago, Illinois where she grew up singing and playing piano in school and church. Furthering her education, Rachel attended at Middle Tennessee State University studying classical voice and teaching private music to children in 2013, volunteering at a local community center and teaching smaller ensembles at Barefoot Republic Camp in 2014. Upon graduation, she continued teaching private lessons until 2015 at a local community center, a music store, and traveling to student homes. She found a love for teaching music to students who were interested. Rachel personalizes every session to meet the needs of students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them toward improvement. She does that in the most effective way possible by observing how each student learns into order to build technical skills.
